Dr. Patel has practiced pulmonary and sleep medicine in Columbus, GA for over 40 years. He completed his Pulmonary Fellowship at the University of Louisville from 1981-1983.
Dr. Csete is a pulmonologist with over 40 years of experience in the field. He completed his medical degree in 1983 at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and holds an MBA. Before joining Nimbus, Dr. Csete was the Chief of the Critical Care Division at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.
Alejandra Gines-Orona is a Nurse Practitioner at the Nimbus Columbus clinic.
Board certified in pulmonary disease, sleep medicine and internal medicine, Dr. Rundbaken is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists and the College of Chest Physicians.
After earning his doctorate at Des Moines University, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Garden City Community Hospital, in conjunction with Michigan State University, and his Pulmonary Fellowship at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Since his move to Arizona in 1997, Dr. Rundbaken has served as a general pulmonologist treating a variety of pulmonary disorders including COPD, asthma, lung nodules, and our local endemic disease - Valley Fever. When required for diagnoses, bronchoscopies are performed at Banner Health facilities.
Dr Rundbaken schedules in-office patient visits Monday through Friday and continues to make hospital rounds.
Shannon Valenzuela MD is a board-certified pulmonologist. She received her undergraduate degree at Arizona State University. She completed medical school at University of Arizona. She has over 25 years of experience. She loves caring for her patients and remains dedicated to her practice. An Arizona native, she was born and raised in Prescott. She is married for 30 years and blessed with 2 amazing daughters. She loves traveling, reading, and the outdoors!
Donald Scicchitano comes to pulmonary medicine by way of emergency medicine. His career started professionally in 1988 as a Nationally Registered paramedic (NREMT-P) in upstate New York, as what is formally known as the prehospital sector. Through those twenty-two years he has been a Chief paramedic, a Lieutenant within the fire service, and four years as a flight paramedic.
Donald Scicchitano graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science, and is board certified as a physician assistant (PA-C) through the NCCPA. While most of his career has been in emergency medicine, additional experience includes Internal medicine, hospitalist medicine, critical care, and surgery. He volunteered with the New York Special Olympics as both a paramedic and PA-C which ended after twenty-five years when he relocated to Arizona.
Donald Scicchitano completed his transition to pulmonary medicine and started full time in September 2023. After relocating to Arizona, he and his wife have lived in Sun City West since 2022. They have three daughters that live in the valley, two are married with one being a military spouse. Interests include Hiking, karaoke, do media/sound for church for those who watch online, and self-teaching the alto saxophone.
