James Barfield is a versatile engineer with over 15 years of experience in machine learning, wearables, big data, Internet of Things (IoT), and biomedical engineering. He holds over 20 patents and has served as a leader in the creation of IoT, artificial intelligence, and technology platforms for several companies, including Verizon and Medtronic. James attended Georgia Tech, where he earned both an MS and BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering with an emphasis on Biomedical Engineering and Neuroscience. He provides architectural guidance on the development of Nimbus’s technology platform, including the predictive-monitoring, scheduling, and orchestration systems that power the network.
