Nimbus Health is the first national network of outpatient pulmonary clinics, and many of our clinics are now active clinical trial sites. We partner with pharmaceutical and biotechnology sponsors and contract research organizations to run pulmonary studies inside our established offices, where the patients, the pulmonologists and the clinical infrastructure are already in place.
New pulmonary therapies only reach patients after they have been tested for efficacy in well-run trials. We believe community pulmonology clinics are one of the best places to do that work. Our patients reflect the real-world population these therapies are meant to serve, and our physicians manage these conditions every day.

We do research on a range of investigational product types, from inhaled therapies and anti-fibrotics to biologics and gene-based therapies.
Our principal investigators are experienced pulmonologists with decades of clinical experience. Each site is led by a PI who personally treats the patient population under study.
Each participating clinic has a research coordinator focused on enrollment, patient engagement and protocol adherence, so studies don't compete with the daily clinic schedule.
Across our network, Nimbus clinicians care for tens of thousands of patients with chronic lung disease. Our eligibility analysis engine is superior to most trial sites in the country, supported by a powerful Snowflake database that stores rich, complete data on all of our patients. We also integrate uncommon endpoints such as PFT results, lab values, imaging reports, and hospitalization records, to produce the most accurate eligibility analyses possible.
Nimbus operates clinics across multiple states. Sponsors can activate several sites through a single point of contact, with consistent processes, contracting and communication across the network.
Participants are seen by the same pulmonology team that manages their ongoing care. That continuity supports engagement and retention through the full length of a study.
